FORT MYERS, Fla. — A full renovation has been completed on the Jones Walker Palm Gardens Apartments in Fort Myers.
The complex includes 160 affordable housing apartment homes.
The renovation was done by the Heatherwood Construction Company and included demolition to the studs to accommodate central air conditioning, updated plumbing and electric and brand new appliances.
“Affordable housing is an integral part of our community and we were so grateful for the opportunity to renovate this apartment complex”, stated David Ellis, Director of Business Development at Heatherwood Construction. “As someone who has been a part of developing affordable housing communities for the last 30 years, it’s great to have partners that equally share in the care of its community.”
Tenants were returned to their home just in time for Christmas, even receiving toys for their children thanks to a partnership between the construction company and Toys for Tots.
