The 2017 Island Hopper Songwriter Festival returns to Fort Myers Beach on Friday, September 29th and features over 50 performers in eight different venues.
The performers are singing their own songs that they've written for big name artists like Rascal Flatts and John Michael Montgomery.
The event runs until Sunday, October 1st and starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The event is free to the public.
The performers say it's a good way to help escape from the stress and clean up after hurricane Irma.
