PUNTA GORDA, Fla. -- Charlotte County deputies say they need to speak to someone who may have some information about a cold case murder.
Sharon Gill was stabbed to death in her home on Rampart Boulevard, between Nuremberg Boulevard and Raintree Lane, in 1990.
She was home alone at the time and no signs of forced entry into her residence were discovered.
A day or two later, someone reported seeing a suspicious person near her house.
Deputies say they have some new information on the case, and they want to talk to the person who gave them the tip.
