LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers needs the public's helping in solving the murder of a Lehigh Acres teenager.
Crime Stoppers says just before 1 a.m. on August 14th, detectives responded to 56th Street W after receiving a call of a male who had been shot.
That's where they found the body of 19-year-old Charles "CJ" Wallace.
According to Crime Stoppers, it is believed that the suspect knew Wallace and could be familiar with the neighborhood.
Because 56th Street West is a dead end street, investigators believe the suspect did not randomly drive through the area.
Anyone with information on the murder of CJ Wallace is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000. Tips may also be made online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or on the P3Tips mobile app.
