COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — An elderly woman from Immokalee is in critical condition after being hit by an SUV on New Year's Eve.
An SUV was traveling southbound on North 1st Street, south from Roberts Avenue East, when the woman walked into the street and was hit just before 10 pm.
She was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the SUV, a 39-year-old woman from Labelle, suffered no injuries.
