NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. --- The Lee County Sheriff's Office released the identity of the woman who drowned at Paradise Marina Thursday.
According to LCSO the victim, Andrea Mott, slipped and fell into the water at the Paradise Marina on the 3000 block of Orange Grove Boulevard.
A witness attempted to save Mott before she drowned, but was unable to.
"I pulled her up, I seen her sweat pants. She was belly down, I grabbed her by the ankle and just pulled her up," says Matthew Summerall.
Deputies say the woman was intoxicated and slipped off of the dock into the water.
