LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- All northbound lanes of I-75 at the Lee-Charlotte county line are now back open after a wreck involving a pickup truck.

The Fox 4 Breaking News Tracker was the first media on scene, where a truck crashed in the trees in the median.

It happened just after 2 a.m. Thursday at mile marker 148, north of the Bayshore Road exit in North Fort Myers.

Crews closed down all lanes of the interstate so a medical helicopter could land. And it sat on the highway for about 40 minutes while crews helped the victim.

He was eventually flown to a hospital.
