LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A house was totally destroyed by a fire Tuesday morning, but thankfully nobody was in the house when it happened.
It happened at a home off Cemetery Road near Buckingham Road at approximately 7 a.m.
According to Tice Fire, no residents were home at the time, but there are reports that a dog managed to escape unharmed.
The fire remains under investigation.
