HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. -- Investigators have launched a homicide investigation after a LaBelle woman was found dead in her home this week.
According to the Hendry County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a home located in Grandma's Grove RV Park west of LaBelle on Monday evening after reports of a suspicious death.
They arrived to find 66-year-old Brenda Hill lying on the floor of her home.
They say the dead has been ruled a homicide, but say this is an isolated incident and residents are not in danger.
Investigators are following up on all investigative leads.
