CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Homeowners learned they were responsible for trash left behind by builders.
These Charlotte County homeowners have been left behind with trash and unfinished homes. They are now faced with action from the county.
A letter sent to those homeowners required them to make sure the trash is properly put away within 15 days, or the case could go to code enforcement.
People living there are also encouraged to call the code enforcement officer to make arrangements for getting rid of the trash.
