NAPLES, Fla. -- A man is recovering from serious stab wounds after being attacked in the drive thru of a Naples Culver's this week.

58-year-old Michael O'Conner was arrested Wednesday and charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.

According to a Collier County Sheriff's Office report, the incident happened Monday night at the Culver's on Tamiami Trail just south of Rattlesnake Hammock Road.

Witnesses say O'Conner was acting erratically in the drive thru lane, yelling at the vehicle "hurry the f*** up, I'll kill your ***!" and "you better get the f*** out of the way!" as other customers received their orders.

When the victim arrived at the window, he alerted employees of the man's behavior before feeling a bump at the rear of his vehicle. The victim got out of his car to check for damage when O'Conner attacked him with a knife, according to the report.

The two fought for about two minutes, during which the victim sustained serious injuries to both hands.

Detectives later made contact with O'Conner, who was sleeping in his boat. He says he had dinner with his son that night and then left his house, but has no memory of that night from the time he left his son's house to when he woke up in his boat.

O'Conner was arrested and two knives were placed into evidence from his boat.

The victim required trauma surgery in Miami.
