CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- A homeless man is facing charges in Englewood for a string of burglaries.
Charlotte County Sheriff’s deputies say Matthew O'Connor was arrested Monday. Deputies say their investigation began with a stolen motorcycle and a car break-in.
Later that afternoon, there were three home burglaries.
Deputies finally arrested O'Connor after someone reported he was trying to break into cars at a nearby Walmart.
Deputies say O'Connor is also responsible for another car burglary, removing a pressure washer from a storage shed and stealing a bicycle.
He's being held on no bond.
