COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A hit and run suspect fled the scene of one crash and then crashed into a home in Collier County early Saturday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol. Another driver was traveling eastbound in a 2013 Cadi CTS on the same road in the left turn lane.

The suspect turned into the path of the Cadi and caused a collision. After the crash, troopers say the suspect fled the scene. While fleeing, the suspect drove into a driveway on 52nd St. NW. Investigators say the suspect struck a car parked in front of the home, and the impact pushed the vehicle into the house. The car parked in front of the home came to final rest in the bedroom and garage.

Troopers say the collision also pushed another car parked in the driveway into the garage wall. The suspect's car also collided into the garage. The resident of the home was asleep at the time.
