LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- Several men accused in high-profile violent crimes will go before a judge today, July 31st, 2019.
- Logan Hetherington: accused of hitting and killing 8-year-old Layla Aiken as she waited at her bus stop in Cape Coral.
- Wisner Desmaret: accused of fatally shooting Fort Myers Police Officer Adam Jobbers-Miller.
- Jorge Guerrero-Torres: accused of kidnapping, molesting and then murdering 9-year-old Diana Alvarez, who disappeared back in 2016.
All of their case management hearings are at 1:30 in the Lee County Courthouse.
