**UPDATE (2:30pm)** -- Police have confirmed a man was shot Monday night in a Fort Myers neighborhood.
Officers arrived at the scene on Evans Avenue and determined that a man was shot as he was driving away from the scene. That man, later identified as Arthur Horton, Jr., was later stopped while driving on Cleveland Avenue. He was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
He did not want to press charges.
The investigation continues.
