UPDATE (8:15AM) -- Police say the accident on Hanson Street is cleared and the road has reopened to traffic.

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police have closed Hanson Street in both directions near Evans Avenue due to a crash.

Drivers should seek an alternate route if possible.
