Habitual offender sentenced to five years in prison Lee County

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriffs Office announced the arrest of a habitual offender.

Melvin Williams, 43 had over 15 prior arrests in Lee County according to police.

His charges included the sale of narcotics, aggravated assault, grand theft auto and more.

Williams sold Fentanyl and cocaine to an undercover detective.

Williams was charged and pled guilty in court.

He was sentenced to five years in prison and two years of probation.
