FORT MYERS, Fla. — State Attorney Amira Fox held a news conference with the Lee County Sheriffs Office to announce the grand jury's return of a 1st-degree murder indictment of Adam Soules.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office says Soules confessed to being responsible for the fatal stabbing of library director Leroy C. Hommerding of Fort Myers Beach last month.

Sheriff Carmine Marceno says he is proud of the hard work of all the officials involved and that justice was served.
