ARCADIA, Fla. -- Another southwest Floridian has been attacked by an alligator.
This one happened Sunday night in the DeSoto Veterans Memorial Park in Arcadia.
Florida Fish and Wildlife investigators say a gator bit Russell Mendelsohn's foot while he was in the Peace River.
No word on his condition.
He is at least the fourth person bitten by an alligator in the area this month alone.
Gators have also attacked a 10-year old in Arcadia, a woman in San Carlos Park, and a man in Rotonda.
