CAPE CORAL, Fla -- If you're looking for something fun, yet educational for the kids this Halloween, there's a four-legged treat in store!
Mellie the labrador retriever is known as "the math dog" in Southwest Florida. She can add, subtract and spell. This Halloween, she will be teaching roman numerals to kids at the Mathnasium learning center in Fort Myers.
If you're thinking this must be some sort of Halloween trick, think again! Take a look at Mellie in action in the above video.
Mellie even plays blackjack on her Instagram account, where she tells her owner when to hold and when to hit.
She also uses an alphabet-to-digit system to spell, which she showed off in the above video.
If you and your kids would like to see Mellie in action, she'll be at the Mathnasium Center on Daniels Parkway for the center's "Monster Mayhem" socially distanced Halloween party! It will start at 2:30 p.m.
