CAPE CORAL, Fla. --- Local residents who recently purchased or leased a new Kia from Fuccillo Kia of Cape Coral had the opportunity to win a car or cash Monday.
Participants had the chance to shoot a half-court basketball shot for a chance to win their car in celebration of the conclusion of the month-long Huge-A-Thon promotion. For everyone who made the shot they will have their previously purchased or leased car paid off by Fuccillo Kia of Cape Coral.
The same event was held at three other Fuccillo dealerships in Florida.
Anyone who made their half-court shot was given the opportunity to take a second half-court shot. If participants make three straight half-court shots, they would win $1,000,000.
People who purchased or leased a new Kia between March 1st through 29th also received a cabin aboard, "Cruise with Huge 2018," on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas.
Unfortunately, nobody at the Cape Coral location was able to make a half-court shot. However, Renestin St. John of Winter Haven, Florida, made his half-court shot at the Fuccillo Kia of Wesley Chapel event and, as a result, will have his previously purchased 2018 Kia Forte paid off by Fuccillo Kia of Wesley Chapel. He did not successfully make the required three consecutive half-court shots to also win $1 million.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that Fuccillo Kia of Cape Coral has offered a "HUGE" basketball promotion to customers.
Six local participants have successfully made a half-court shot in previous events and as a result had their previously new car paid off.
