FORT MYERS, Fla. — LeeTran’s seasonal downtown trolleys will resume free service on Sun., Nov. 22.

Both the Blue and Gold Line trolleys provide free access to and from the historic Fort Myers River District. LeeTran trolleys allow for a fun and convenient way to enjoy shopping, dining and entertainment, without having to drive and park downtown.

Riders can access schedules for routes here, and should follow CDC recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID.

The seasonal downtown Fort Myers trolley service will run through April 2021. There will be no bus or trolley service on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.

Lee County commissioners approved an agreement with the City of Fort Myers to authorize the trolley service. It is funded through contributions from the City of Fort Myers, the Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency and Florida Department of Transportation grants.
