FORT MYERS, Fla. — The City of Fort Myers is partnering with Lee County’s Solid Waste Division to offer residents a convenient and responsible way to dispose of household hazardous waste and bulk items.
The free drop-off event takes place on Wed., March 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 9360 Warrior Way (at the intersection of Forum Boulevard and Warrior Way), in Fort Myers.
Some of the acceptable materials for hazardous waste drop-off include electronics, paint, batteries, pesticides, and propane tanks.
In addition, the Solid Waste division will accept bulk objects such as furniture, appliances and tires.
