CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Police have released several surveillance images of a group of people accused of stealing bottles of alcohol from a Publix store last month.
According to Cape Coral Police, it happened April 17 at the Publix Liquor store on Cape Coral Parkway.
Store managers say two males and two females entered the store around 6:30 p.m. and huddled together as they placed several bottles of merchandise into large empty purses.
All four subjects can then be seen entering a blue in color Volkswagen sedan which quickly fled. The clerk at the counter was unable to get a tag of the vehicle prior to it departing.
The items stolen include six bottles of Jonnie Walker Black Label, five bottles of Belvedere Vodka, and two bottles of Hennessey.
