CHEEKTOWAGA, NY -- A Fort Myers man was killed in a hit and run in Cheektowaga, New York early this morning. Cheektowaga is about 10 miles east of Buffalo.
The Cheektowaga Police Department reports that at 4:52 a.m. Tuesday, a car struck and killed 55-year-old Robert Prigl, who was traveling on foot. The vehicle then drove away. Prigl lived in both Fort Myers and Depew, NY, just east of Cheektowaga.
Police have not yet made an arrest.
