FORT MYERS, Fla—Police are investigating a car crash that ended in a police chase.
Fort Myers police on the scene tell Fox 4 crews a white Toyota Camry hit a tree on Nuna Avenue. Police officers say the driver tried to run off, but police did catch him.
Our crew on the scene says, the driver hit his head against the glass inside the police patrol car. He was removed from the car and loaded into an ambulance.
