FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Fort Myers Police Department received a 911 call from the Chevron Gas Station located at 3008 Cleveland Avenue about a just occurred Robbery to the business.
Officers in the immediate area quickly started a perimeter for the suspects.
Officers responded to the business and viewed the business surveillance cameras, which captured the robbery.
Surveillance video showed two males enter the business; one went around to the register and attempted to remove the cash register from the counter while the other pointed a handgun at the employee.
Both suspects fled the business without any cash or property northbound on Cleveland Avenue and cut behind the access road towards Grand Avenue.
The suspects were covered entirely in dark clothing and concealed their faces.
This is an ongoing investigation.
