FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Fort Myers Police Department will be holding a grand opening event for their new substation.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on March 10, 2021, at 9:30 AM at the Horizons Apartments on Summerlin Road.
The new substation will serve the surrounding neighborhoods and provide offices and workstations for officers on patrol.
City officials will address the crowd in the development’s community space and then walk to the new facility for comments by Chief Derrick Diggs and the official ribbon cutting.
