NORTH PORT, Fla. -- Undercover detectives arrested a Fort Myers man last week who they say was trying to visit a child for sex acts in North Port.
51-year-old Pablo Canul was arrested Wednesday.
According to North Port Police, Canul communicated online with an undercover detective posing as a minor on the internet. Canul then traveled from Fort Myers to North Port with the intent to engage in sex acts with the child.
Instead, he was arrested and charged with traveling to meet a minor for sexual acts and using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.
