LEE COUNTY, Fla.—A Fort Myers man is in jail, accused of throwing a beer bottle into a car with a two-year-old inside.
Lee County deputies say Alfredo Avila-Alvarez wanted to get into the car with his girlfriend and her kids, on October 8th, 2017.
The report says when the woman pulled away from him, he threw two beer bottles at the car. One of the bottle broke the rear passenger window. The glass, hit the two-year-old in the leg and face.
Avila-Alvarez is in jail on $30,000 in bond. His trial date is November 6th, 2017.
