FORT MYERS, Fla. – Fort Myers police are investigating after a jewelry store was burglarized.

Detectives were on scene early Thursday morning at Roberto’s Fine Jewelry Store, on the corner of Winkler Ave. and Metro Parkway.

Police on scene say the burglar cut a hole into the roof of the jewelers, then escaped through another hole on a side wall.

Police did not say how much merchandise was taken. They also don’t know if they’re looking for one suspect, or several.
