FORT MYERS, Fl. Dijon Wallace lost everything when his house burnt down two years ago. The Fort Meyers High School community stepped up and donated essentials to his family.
The Wallace family was forced to move out and almost moved to Chicago-- Dijon fought to stay. His dream was to play varsity for Head Coach Sam Sirianni.
Dijon was able to stay and has since made the varsity team for Fort Myers High School. He's also shining in the classroom. The senior is a cornerback and had two interceptions in a recent game.
He's aiming to play football in college next fall. The school is to be decided.
