LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- The State Attorney's office says a Fort Myers couple has been charged with trafficking drugs, including opioids and fraud.
During a press conference on Monday, July 2nd, 2018, the Assistant State Attorney said Arthur Horton and Shawanda Smith were arrested.
Investigators say they found more than 48 grams of fentanyl and nearly $900,000. Lee County Deputies say Smith also stole the more than 100 identities. The report says she's a licensed nurse and works at a local nursing home.
Both people have bonded out of jail.
