Fort Myers area holds more than $124 Million in Unclaimed Property

FORT MYERS, Fla — More than $124 million Unclaimed Property is being held in the Fort Myers area.

Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis announced it on Monday in a press release.

CFO Patronis wants Floridians to join his Holiday Money Hunt to search and see if they have any Unclaimed Property in Florida.

The Holiday Money Hunt was launched to spread the word and help people recover and claim unknown or lost cash.

CFO Patronis also says there is currently $2 billion in Unclaimed Property in Florida.

And he wants to make sure every last bit is returned to its owners.

CFO has returned more than $1 billion to Floridians since he took office in 2017.
