COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A former principal at Manatee Middle School could have a chance to be reinstated after she was suddenly removed from the job last year.
Pamela Vickaryous was removed from her post back on January 2018.
A new court order says Vickaryous should have a chance to be reinstated to previous position or a similar one.
Vickaryous' supporters were so concerned they even started an online petition to try to get her reinstated.
STATEMENT FROM Collier County Public Schools:
“The court has determined that Ms. Vickaryous is to be temporarily reinstated to either her former or to an equivalent position while the case is pending. This determination is under review by the district. In any event, we intend to vigorously defend the underlying claims in this case.”
