COLLIER COUNTY, FLa. — A former Collier County teacher accused of having sex with a 17-year old girl will spend 8 years in jail.
Investigators say Brock Smith began a sexual relationship with the victim in 2016.
He was arrested after the teen alerted police.
Today, Smith was sentenced on a charge for using a computer to Solicit-Lure a child.
Smith has another case set for trial in September for charges involving crimes against a child.
