Food drive to benefit Lehigh Community Services

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla — The Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District and Lee County Sheriff’s Office East District are partnering up to host a food drive to benefit Lehigh Community Services.

They will be collecting non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products from December 1st until the 17th.

Firefighters and deputies will then deliver them to Lehigh Community Services.

You can donate items on their wishlist, including pasta, pasta sauce, dry beans, canned meat, peanut butter, jelly, rice, and canned vegetables.

If you would like to donate items to the food drive, you can visit the Sheriff’s Office East District office or one of the fire stations below.
