Food bank exceeds Hurricane Irma donation goal

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The Harry Chapin Food Bank announced Thursday that the organization has reached its Hurricane Irma recovery goal.

They launched the "Recover, Rebuild, Restore” campaign on September 22nd with a goal of raising $500,000 by the end of October.

Thursday they announced you have helped them get even higher than that, raising $590,000 overall.

Four in Your Corner partnered with the Harry Chapin Food Bank throughout this campaign, working to make sure they could reach that goal.
