CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- The florist shop "Say It With Flowers" in Cape Coral has been busy getting ready for the Mother's Day holiday.
The shop wanted to help their customers by giving them some tips when creating your own floral bouquet.
Shop owner Barbara Buchholz said it's starts by cutting the stems a certain length so the arraignment looks layered in the vase.
Customers should also remember to change the water in the vase often to help the flowers stay fresh.
She wanted to remind everyone that you can buy wholesale flowers or already designed arraignments at her shop.
Most importantly, she hopes everyone remembers to shop local to support businesses in Southwest Florida.
"Every order is treated with care," said Buccholz. "But when you work with a customer one-on-one, we are handling the payment and you don't get all of those extra fees, and we can just do so much better of a job."
