LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- The Florida Education Department wants to hear from parents and teachers, about the standards review process.
The new survey allows you to provide feedback on each existing standard individually, by clicking here. You will still have the opportunity to submit general comments by clicking here.
The survey was launched after Governor DeSantis announced he would get rid of common core in Florida schools. Governor DeSantis says this pivotal step will pave the way for Florida students to receive an education that will prepare them for jobs of the future.
This mandate directs Commissioner Richard Corcoran to comprehensively review the academic standards for Florida's kindergarten through grade twelve students and provide recommended revisions to the Governor by January 1, 2020.
