CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol Troopers responded to a reported highway violence incident involving the display of a firearm at another vehicle in Charlotte County.
Troopers initiated a traffic stop on a 2009 Kenworth Commercial Motor Vehicle in Lee County and identified the driver as Yoan Lopez-Pardo, 41.
A criminal investigation ensued, resulting in the arrest of Lopez-Pardo for improper display of a firearm (Taurus Millennium 9mm) and aggravated assault.
Lopez-Pardo was booked into the Charlotte County Jail.
