FORT MYERS, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is searching for a hit and run driver involved in a crash on I-75 around 4:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning.
The car was traveling in the southbound inside lane of I-75 when it collided with the side of the victim’s vehicle in the center lane. It then veered off the road and hit a cement wall on the grass shoulder west of I-75, near mile marker 117.
The car is described as black. The make and model are unknown, but the impacts would have damaged the front and side of the car.
The driver of the car that was hit has minor injuries.
