FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Florida Highway patrol confirmed it conducted a traffic homicide investigation regarding the crash
that resulted in Alana Tamplins death on January 14th.
FHP issued Marry Miller, 63 a citation for careless driving involving the death which carries a mandatory court date.
FHP asked the State Attorneys Office to review the case.
The report and its findings is still pending.
