LEE COUNTY, Fla. - The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions will host their home opener this weekend at North Fort Myers Community Park.
The semi-professional soccer team will take on the Florida Tropics in two home games - one Saturday and one Sunday.
The weekend will include outdoor activities and games - and the team will raise money for the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation.
Tickets for the games will be available at the venue.
Activities this weekend include pre-game tailgating, 3v3 soccer games, flip cup, corn hole, a water balloon toss, a dunk tank, banner contest and food trucks.
Saturday's activities begin at 2 p.m. and the game starts at 4 p.m. Sunday's activities begin at 11 a.m. and the game starts at 1 p.m.
The team plays the Florida Tropics SC at the North Fort Myers Community Park. Admission is $7 for Saturday's and Sunday's games.
