Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrests City of Cape Coral employee

CAPE CORAL, FLa. — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has arrested an employee of the City's Parks & Recreation Department.

A statement released this afternoon by the City of Cape Coral says Toby Sheaf, 53 was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.

Sheaf has been employed by the City since 1997 and is a Parks Maintenance Supervisor II.

City Manager John Szerlag says:
"I have been advised of the arrest involving Sheaf," I have directed staff to gather all of the details and facts surrounding this arrest and will be determining the appropriate course of action."
