LaBELLE, Fla. -- The first brewery in Hendry County is officially opening their doors Tuesday.
LaBelle Brewing Company is a microbrewery and will serve a wide range of craft beers brewed in house. They have been open since Thursday on a soft-opening "beer only" operation.
The brewery has a bar and lounge areas both inside and out, with tables outside under a covered patio.
“We wanted to provide a nice venue that can serve as a living room and back porch for the people of LaBelle -- a place where you can hang out with your friends, and it feels like home. Most breweries are in industrial zones. LaBelle Brewing Company will be a comfortable, homey place with games, good music, good beer and good company,” said owner, Daniel Peregrin.
It’s located at 670 West Hickpochee Avenue.
They are open every Tuesday through Sunday starting at 11 a.m.
Their signature beer is called Cowboy Way IPA. The brew-master says it is brewed with local citrus and has a tropical hoppy finish.
