LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Bonita Springs Fire crew came to the rescue of some stranded baby otters Wednesday.

Residents in the Spanish Wells Gold & Country Club off Bonita Beach Road reported hearing the baby otters crying in the storm drain and placed a call for assistance.

That's when the crew from Engine 22 of the Bonita Springs Fire District arrived to help.  The firefighters were able to dislodge some debris that was keeping the three baby otters from their mother.

The family was soon happily reunited in a nearby pond.
