PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — North and southbound lanes of Burnt Store Rd. are closed near US 41 in Punta Gorda due to a structure fire at the Eagle Point Mobile Home Park.
The Punta Gorda fire Department has confirmed no one was in the home at the time of the fire, but one dog has died.
Fire officials ask that you avoid the area for the next 2-3 hours while they investigate.
