UPDATE (12:30PM) -- One person has been charged with homicide after police say he shot two men in a Dunbar home Tuesday night, killing one of them.

37-year-old Taheed Stoner was booked into the Lee County Jail Wednesday morning and charged with Homicide, Aggravated Battery, and Possession of a Weapon by Convicted Felon.

According to Fort Myers Police, officers were alerted to a potential retaliation on Thomas Street after a woman was shot in the hand earlier that night.

Soon after, officers say they witnessed that victim's boyfriend, Stoner, shooting at a home in the 3000 block of Thomas Street.  Stoner fled but was detained within minutes.

Inside the home, officers found two men injured by gunfire.  24-year-old Dewayne Johnson later died at the hospital from his wounds.  45-year-old Dwayne Broughton was critically injured and is being treated at Lee Memorial Hospital.
