UPDATE (1:45PM) -- Cape Coral Police sat they have a person of interest and the possible suspect vehicle that was involved in the fatal hit-and-run traffic crash from this morning at Cape Coral Parkway and Coronado Pkwy.
No further information is being released.

CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Police say a pedestrian was fatally hit by a hit and run vehicle on Cape Coral Parkway Friday morning.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection with Coronado Parkway.
Cape Coral Police tell Fox 4 that the vehicle involved was travelling westbound on Cape Coral Parkway and left the scene. The victim was not in a crosswalk area.
No further details are available yet, but drivers are urged to avoid the area for about three hours if possible.
Update: One eastbound lane of Cape Coral Parkway has been opened to traffic. All other lanes remain closed at the intersection.
